Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining an apartment community with 160 apartment homes in Baltimore, MD. You will assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by always providing a quality living environment for our residents.
Base Pay Range$24.00/hr - $26.00/hr
Responsibilities- Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance
- Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
- Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements
- Preserving the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and ground maintenance
- Providing residents with outstanding customer service
- Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after-hour emergencies
- Operating with OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Experience in maintenance preferred and/or 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency preferred but not required in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair
- Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
- Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs
- Competitive compensation. Hourly Range: $24-26.
