Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our client's healthcare team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality clinical and administrative support to ensure an excellent patient experience. This is a great opportunity to work with a nationally recognized health system
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and room patients, obtain vitals, and document medical histories
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Administer injections and conduct point-of-care testing
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain clinical supply inventory
- Support care coordination, referrals, and follow-up
- Adhere to infection control standards and HIPAA compliance
- Contribute to a positive, efficient clinic environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) a plus
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
