Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of production equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, EDMs, lathes, Swiss machines, water jets, robotic systems, presses, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for accurate repairs and installations.
- Conduct inspections and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Assist with approximately 10 new equipment installations annually.
- Operate forklifts and lifting equipment safely.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols during maintenance and installation tasks.
- Experience in CNC maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance and schematic interpretation.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lathe, mill, CNC Swiss, water jet, EDM, and robot maintenance.
- Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience on CNC machines.
- Proficiency with electrical maintenance tasks, blueprints, and schematics.
- Technical degree (preferred).
- Experience working independently in an industrial maintenance role (preferred).

Work Environment
This position operates on the 3rd shift, Sunday night to Thursday morning, from 11 PM to 7 AM. Initial training will be on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, for 8-12 weeks from 7 AM to 3 PM. You will be part of a massive facility with 500 employees and be the sole maintenance mechanic on the 3rd shift, while the 1st shift has 15 maintenance employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vadnais Heights, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.80 - $44.23/hr.
