Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI Tech Job Details: Work 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM Weekend schedule (Monday-Thursday considered weekend for this position) No call requirements Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required Must be certified as Radiologic Technologist through ARRT (ARMRIT not accepted) Required certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS Experience with GE and Siemens equipment (1.5T and 3T) required Previous Children's Hospital experience strongly preferred Must be proficient in pediatric scanning as role is almost exclusively pediatric Work with inpatient/outpatient MRI for adults and pediatrics of all ages including neonates Handle stroke and trauma patients Work in department with 3 MRI rooms and daily census of 40 Must complete 10 hours of orientation EPIC EMR experience (minimum 1 year) required Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours Flu vaccination required with no exemptions Must be willing to float to other units when needed Travel compliance requirements apply based on distance from facility Facility: This healthcare facility is part of a large health system offering comprehensive medical services including advanced imaging capabilities. The MRI department operates with state-of-the-art GE and Siemens equipment and provides both inpatient and outpatient services. The facility specializes in pediatric care and handles a wide range of patients from neonates to adults, with particular expertise in stroke and trauma cases. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and provides extensive support services including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services.
