As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing both backend and frontend systems that power our product offerings. In this role within our product engineering team, you will implement and enhance services and integrations crucial for features like Payment, Billing, and Identity management.

Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and scaling systems aimed at delivering exceptional user and partner experiences. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, you'll tackle pressing challenges related to rent payment and will be involved in a fast-paced delivery process that emphasizes iterative changes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, capable of guiding the scoping, design, and implementation of the APIs you create, and ensuring a smooth rollout into production.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
  • 3+ years of experience with React or React Native.
  • 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
  • Proven ability in building high-quality mobile and web UIs to specifications is essential.
  • Strong ownership abilities, able to work effectively on a globally-distributed team.
  • Experience interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, successfully managing expectations on scopes and deliveries.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, consistently bringing your best.
  • Experience in constructing robust, fault-tolerant systems with several external dependencies.
  • Proficient in Java frameworks and tools, including Spring (core/web/boot), Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning.
  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, Message Queues, and scalable architectures.
  • Familiarity with the React ecosystem tools and architectures (Hooks, Components, Context, Redux).
  • Knowledge of AWS services (EKS, Aurora RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB) and containerization tools.

The salary compensation for this role will align with your experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines.

  • In NY/NJ/CA, the base salary range is $197,000-$213,000.
  • For all other states, the base salary range is $177,000-$192,000.
