Job Description
Are you ready to drive strategic financial impact in a global organization that values innovation, collaboration, and sustainability? CHEP, a Brambles company, is seeking a dynamic and analytical Senior Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team in Alpharetta, Atlanta or in Orlando, FL.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including profitability reviews, variance analysis, and financial modelling, to support business decisions and optimize performance.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain, commercial, sales) to provide actionable insights that enhance financial decision-making and operational outcomes.
- Provide analytical support for business case development, cost analysis, and evaluation of strategic initiatives to ensure informed decision-making.
- Drive process improvements by supporting the implementation and optimization of financial tools, automation efforts, and standardized processes.
- Perform post-investment reviews to assess the performance of strategic initiatives and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- support efforts to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial data quality, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial information.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects, including pricing strategies, cost savings initiatives, and performance tracking, to drive business improvements.
This role is responsible for providing the Business Partner and wider Business with detailed Commercial & Supply Chain Finance activities by providing analysis and insight on key initiatives to drive growth, increase profitability, reduce Cost to Serve, as well as broader financial support. This includes reporting and analyzing account health and working with sales to improve customer reporting and profitability
As a Senior Finance Analyst, Commercial, you'll be at the heart of our financial strategy-partnering with Commercial Teams, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to optimize profitability, manage customer contracts, and deliver actionable insights. You'll lead contingency analysis, support capital investment decisions, and help shape the future of our commercial finance operations.
🔍 What You'll Do
- Analyze account health and collaborate with Sales to improve profitability.
- Deliver strategic insights through financial modeling, ROCI analysis, and pricing support.
- Lead capital investment reviews and post-investment analytics.
- Drive automation and standardization of financial tools and processes.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own and manage contingency databases and reporting processes.
- Education: Bachelor's in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years in Finance or Accounting, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, commercial finance acumen, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of supply chain, FP&A, and financial model building commercial pricing strategies, ROCI and customer contracts
