SUMMARY:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional, individualized patient care as part of a dedicated nursing team. Your proactive approach and commitment to high standards of patient support will contribute significantly to the well-being of residents and foster a collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Patient Care & Service: Provide and assist residents with essential activities based on personalized care plans; facilitate transportation to various activities; organize leisure activities; perform evaluations and documentation; and offer emotional support to residents and their families.

  • Safety: Aid in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting resident environment.

  • Communication & Documentation: Support families by guiding them to appropriate healthcare professionals; promptly address resident requests; provide accurate reports to colleagues and team leaders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in New York State.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.

EDUCATION:

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$19.90 - $21.10

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful full-time applicants. Future modifications are possible, and compensation may include additional pay components based on factors such as experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
