Summary of Job Duties:
The Cardiac Surgical First Assistant (FA) is a highly qualified individual who has demonstrated expertise in cardiothoracic surgery and possesses a niche set of skills to manage cardiothoracic patients in the surgical setting. Within this role, this position will first assist in various duties during the surgical procedure such as endo vein harvesting for Coronary Artery Bypass, Aortic, Mitral and Tricuspid valve repair/replace, aortic aneurysm and thoracic cases. This position is a critical member of the team as we offer surgical solutions to the most complex cardiac patients in addition to developing an advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support programs.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of experience as Cardiac Surgical First Assistant

Successful graduation from a Surgical Technology Program
