Solutions Architect- Policy as Code

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Solutions Architect (Charlotte) to join their team. As a Solutions Architect (Charlotte), you will be part of the Technology Strategy and Innovation department supporting multiple project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop innovative application and platform architectures to support long-term strategic goals.

• Lead efforts to automate detection, compliance, and enforcement of bank standards through Policy as Code solutions.

• Prototype and document automation processes for application releases, including code deployment, certification, and production cutover.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts across various organizational units to realize automation capabilities.

• Support the evolution of the bank's technology infrastructure by integrating diverse tools and practices.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in application or platform architecture and design.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and GitHub.

• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages including Perl, Python, Go, SQL, and HTML.

• Experience with technology governance, compliance reporting, and deployment practices like VM, Terraform, and OpenShift.
