Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call requirements: 7-12 days of call in a 6-week period
• Call schedule: 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays and 5:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday for weekends on rotation
• Must live within 30 minutes radius of hospital while on call (no on-site call accommodations)
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS with IR Tech experience, ARRT R, State licensed
• Work with 2-3 teams of four during days, team of 4 on call during nights and weekends
• Handle approximately 8 visits per day in 4 procedure rooms
• Average 280 cases per month including 8-12 STEMIs monthly
• Perform cardiac catheterizations with and without intervention, vascular procedures, device implantations, EP studies, and pain management procedures
• Work with Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC-PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP equipment
• Treat adults and geriatric patients in procedural cardiac, vascular, and pain management cases
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4-8 hours during orientation and annually through Relias/Net Learning portal
• One request time off restriction

This medical center operates a comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology department featuring 4 modern procedure rooms equipped with advanced imaging technology. The facility performs a high volume of cardiac, vascular, and pain management procedures with specialized teams providing 24/7 STEMI coverage. The department offers full interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
