- As a Project Controls Engineering Consultant, you will work collaboratively with clients, vendors, contractors, and other Project Farma Team Members to support projects related to biomanufacturing across the entire engineering lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering high quality work, forming and maintaining valuable, long-term relationships with our clients, and continually strengthening your technical and industry knowledge.
Project Farma does not provide relocation assistance. Candidates should be located in (or willing to relocate independently to) Chicago, IL or Indianapolis, IN.

How will you spend your days as a Consultant, Project Controls Engineering?
- Produce key project controls deliverables, including:
o Detailed project schedules using MS Project, Oracle Primavera P6, or Smartsheets.
o Feasibility estimates, risks, forecasts, and What-if scenario analysis
o Project cost reports and trend analysis
o Comprehensive weekly and monthly project summary reports for stakeholders.
o Critical Path Analysis
o Preparing Agendas, leading meetings, tracking Risk, Actions, Issues, Decisions for the team.
o Budget estimates - Analyze complex project data and then deliver clear, articulate, and concise messages in a compelling manner to support decision making.
- Communicating with 3rd party vendors on behalf of the client to drive to their timelines.
- Gain a general understanding of Earned Value Analysis and PO management tools.
- Maintain internal site tools such as site dashboards, deliverable trackers, etc.
- Create alignment with cross-functional client departments, including Design, Construction, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering. (Moved to bottom).
Examples of our core services within the life science space, include: Capital Project Management (including Project Controls and Scheduling); Facility Management & Builds; Tech Transfers; Validation Life Cycle (including Commissioning and Qualification, Process Validation, Computer System Validation, etc.); GxP Automated Systems; Due Diligence & Business Strategy; Quality, Regulatory, & Compliance.
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management or related discipline (OR a combination of equivalent work experience in Project Controls, cGMP facility start-up, project management and/or comparable military experience).
• Minimum 5 years of scheduling and/or project controls experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 and/or Smartsheet necessary.
• Willing to be on-site Full-time as client projects require.
• Willingness to travel as required to support project and business needs.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
