What you'll do:
- Teach Art and / or Digital Design Classes: Teach weekly art and / or digital art classes and summer camps for a variety of ages and media
- Ensure Student Success: Ensure student success in the studio and lab by actively engaging with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growth
- Provide Hospitality Service & Communication: Conduct proactive check-ins with parents, students and families, support makeup scheduling, discuss student progress and opportunities for growth, upsells to additional classes / camps.
- Implement One River Methodology Curriculum: Ensure teachers have lesson plans/resources on time and implement the One River Method through each class effectively and contribute to lesson plan development regularly
- Run a best-in-class studio: Order and Re-stock art supplies, Clean and organize studio spaces and student artwork and oversee digital lab maintenance
- Student Exhibitions: Collect, Curate and Install school & community exhibitions; plan and prompt the opening receptions for Student Shows and support parties and special events.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Visual Art, Art Education or Design
- Master's a plus or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years experience teaching visual arts for K-12 and/or adults. Digital art skills are a plus.
- Track record of high-quality instruction, classroom management, and student progress.
- Clear communicator, organized, and energized by a busy studio environment
- Passion for art history, contemporary art and a "students-first" mindset

- This is a Full time Position, 5 days per week with regular weekend (Saturday or Sunday) teaching hours
- Salary: $65,000-$80,000 base + quarterly bonus eligibility
