Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description
Join a dynamic team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in producing precision medical components. This position involves assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts, and electrical/electronic systems into subassemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment. You will fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet product operating requirements, and repair units that do not meet these standards.
Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts, and electrical/electronic systems.

Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment.

Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.

Repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements.

Follow detailed and defined procedures and guidelines in decision making.
Essential Skills
-
Experience with assembly and hand tools.

Basic understanding of production and assembly work routines and procedures.

Ability to perform repetitive assembly work in a regulated environment.

No prior experience required, but knowledge acquired through specialized education or training is beneficial.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in cleanroom environments.

Familiarity with subassemblies and soldering.

Understanding of GMP and regulatory standards.

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom or lab environment, with one room designated for pump testing that is refrigerated. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. The facility maintains a focus on precision and quality in a collaborative setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Durham, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
