Who You Are

You are a highly motivated, outcome-driven technical expert focused on delivering innovative scientific solutions. As a self-starter, you tackle challenges head-on, and your hands-on approach ensures timely and effective product delivery. You excel in collaborative environments, working with scientists, product managers, and engineers to turn complex scientific data into practical, actionable insights. With a wealth of experience in applying advanced data methodologies in biopharma R&D, you effectively address current challenges while implementing scalable, generalizable solutions. You are also committed to continuous learning and have a proven ability to construct data models and applications designed to maximize the value derived from data through AI and machine learning integrations.

What You Have Done

• PhD with 7+ years or Masters with 10+ years of experience in life sciences, with significant knowledge in drug discovery and preclinical development.
• Successful history of defining and executing AI/ML-driven use cases in cloud environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and scientists.
• Conducted thorough data analysis and workflow optimization to produce scientific results.
• Engaged with various stakeholders from scientists to executives, utilizing strong communication skills.
• Provided advisory support to scientists, enhancing research and quality outcomes.

What You Will Do

• Become an essential team member in a partnership aimed at advancing Scientific AI, engaging directly with customers up to 4-5 days a week in the Boston region to understand their data challenges deeply and drive solution development.
• Design and implement scalable data models that efficiently organize and capture scientific data.
• Translate scientific workflows into robust solutions leveraging the Tetra Data Platform.
• Own the process of scoping, prototyping, and implementing solutions, including:
  • Data model design (tabular & JSON)
  • Development of Python-based parsers
  • Integration with lab software (e.g., ELN/LIMS) via APIs
  • Data visualization and application development in Python using frameworks like Streamlit
  • Collaboration with Scientific Business Analysts and applied AI engineers on model development
  • Investigating proprietary instrument output files programmatically.
• Dynamically adjust solutions in collaboration with scientific end users and technical stakeholders through continuous feedback.
• Communicate progress proactively and deliver demonstrations to customer stakeholders.
• Work with the product team to build and prioritize the roadmap by addressing customer needs within and outside the Tetra Data Platform.
• Quickly acquire new technology skills to enhance use cases.
