Job Description:
As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable technology solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role involves collaborating with technical and business partners to gather requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality code for enterprise-level applications. You will also mentor team members, participate in strategic planning, and ensure timely delivery of critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the senior developer and liaison with other development teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Develop architectural diagrams, software code, and automated test scripts.
  • Write clear technical documentation and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in product design sessions and all Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to define and document requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical project and release deliverables.
  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
  • Drive process improvements, scalability, and automation initiatives.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
  • 8-10 years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, cloud development, and web services (REST, SOAP).
  • 3-5 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level solutions.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), SQL Server, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with risk management systems and financial applications.


The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
