Interventional Radiology Tech - Neuro | 13-Week Travel Contract | Evanston, IL
Total Pay: $3,240/Week | $56/Hour + $1,000 Weekly Stipend

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Tech with Neuro experience for a 13-week travel contract in Evanston, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an advanced IR team performing complex neuro and body procedures in a leading medical facility.

Assignment Details:
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8- or 10-hour shifts
  • No regular weekends unless on call
On-Call Requirements:
  • On-call up to 9 days/month
  • One full weekend (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule
  • One additional weekend day per month as third call
  • Callback times: 30 minutes for Neuro, 45 minutes for IR Body
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scrub in and assist IR physicians on advanced procedures, including:

    • Thrombectomies
    • Pulmonary Embolism Interventions
    • Uterine Fibroid Embolizations (UFE)
    • Y90 Radioembolization
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
  • Maintain sterile technique and procedure documentation
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' Interventional Radiology experience
  • Neuro IR experience required
  • IL IEMA License (Active)
  • BLS and ARRT (RT-R) Certification
  • Strong knowledge of IR protocols and sterile field procedures
  • Able to meet call response times (30-45 minutes)
