Job Title: Procurement Specialist Job ID: 84476 Location: Dallas, Texas Overview: A leading manufacturing organization in Dallas is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support purchasing activities across its production, R&D, and service operations. This role involves managing raw material procurement, coordinating with suppliers, working with MRP-driven planning, and supporting efficient manufacturing flow. What you will be doing:
  • Purchase raw materials, components, and consumables through MRP and purchase requisitions.
  • Validate supplier quotes and lead times; negotiate pricing where appropriate.
  • Track orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve issues with late or incorrect shipments.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and service teams to meet operational needs.
  • Work with Accounting and Receiving to reconcile invoice and delivery discrepancies.
  • Support supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement.
What you must have:
  • 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems for planning and purchasing.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management capabilities.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel required).
