  • The Director, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) will provide full-time environmental, health, and safety direction and leadership to support all operations of the company's U.S. Facilities
  • Provide strategic leadership of Company's various environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives to ensure Company maintains and builds upon its reputation as a proactive industry leader.
  • This position will be responsible for compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal environmental, health, safety, and radioactive material regulations applicable to the above operations.
  • In addition, this position will be directly responsible for the administration of workers' compensation programs and insurance for all U.S. Facilities.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND
  • B.S. Environmental Health & Safety, B.S. Safety Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years in EHS Management
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with one or more of the following hazards: Explosives (preferred), Radiation and/or Laser.
  • Prior experience working for a Defense contractor is preferred
  • Knowledge of NFPA practices, codes and standards is desired
  • Exposure to using ERP applications, Oracle preferred
