JOB OVERVIEW:

The General Manager plays a critical role in leading a high-volume Taco Bell restaurant with revenues of $1.5 million or more. You will oversee daily operations, develop your team, manage financial performance, and ensure operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader who is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while achieving sales and profitability goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver Outstanding Customer Service:

  • Demonstrate superior interactions with customers.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Coach team members to achieve stellar CHAMPS scores.
  • Analyze restaurant performance in relation to competitors.

Develop and Mentor Team Members:

  • Conduct orientation and training programs for new team members.
  • Utilize resources for effective team development and retention.
  • Monitor training progress and ensure compliance.
  • Support team members' career growth through ongoing coaching.

Lead with Vision:

  • Motivate and inspire your team through positive energy.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality and safety.
  • Act as a mentor and support the management team.

Make Strategic Decisions:

  • Analyze complex issues to find solutions promptly.
  • Encourage the management team to independently resolve problems.

Foster Effective Communication:

  • Maintain clear communication with all team members.
  • Display strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Time Management and Leadership:

  • Organize team activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and verify completion.

Act with Ownership:

  • Manage profit and loss to ensure financial health.
  • Oversee staffing to optimize operational performance.
