Electrical Engineer - PCB Design, $120,000-165,000+ equity + healthcare

We are searching for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with a focus on PCB and power electronics to lead the design and development of advanced PCB-based power devices that will be essential in revolutionary water desalination systems.

Location: Torrance, California

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize power electronics systems, including DC converters and motor drives.
  • Evaluate and select electrical components to ensure high design quality and reliability while meeting environmental targets.
  • Conduct thorough verification and validation testing, iterating on designs to achieve robust and dependable performance.
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical and firmware teams on system integration projects.
  • Focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) to promote scalability of products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PCB design and power electronics, although candidates with strong academic achievements or 1+ years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
  • Solid grasp of power circuit designs and EMI-sensitive considerations.
  • Basic understanding of microcontrollers and digital circuitry.

This position offers a competitive salary of $120,000-165,000, depending on experience, plus equity, healthcare benefits, and additional perks.
