Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our New York office and play a key role in delivering world-class MEP design projects. As a leading MEP design firm in the architectural engineering consulting industry, we're looking for a technically proficient professional with leadership skills and project management experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about engineering and architecture and is committed to designing high-performance, sustainable, and iconic buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conceptualize mechanical HVAC systems and present design solutions to clients and stakeholders
- Produce high-quality mechanical HVAC construction documents
- Design building automation systems (BAS) and sequences of operation
- Prepare detailed technical specifications for mechanical systems
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships
- Deliver technical presentations to clients, project teams, and industry audiences
- Mentor and train junior engineers and team members
- Oversee quality control for engineering deliverables and ensure design accuracy
- Proven leadership and team development abilities
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit
- Experience with HVAC engineering calculations and performance simulation tools
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience
