Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) - Trauma OR, you will ensure the provision of high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all unit functions during your designated shift. In collaboration with management colleagues, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care according to established policies and procedures, serve as a resource for staff, and embody the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure top-tier patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with admission and discharge processes to guarantee efficient flow and high-quality patient care.
• Participating in ongoing assessments of care quality in collaboration with the management team.
• Working with subject matter experts and other managers to foster teamwork that leads to improved outcomes and services.
• Promoting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery as needed.
• Contributing to staff engagement by implementing current nursing strategies, such as hourly rounding and employee rounding.
• Helping with the recruitment, selection, and training of new staff and recommending training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assisting with staff scheduling and managing labor in alignment with patient needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supporting inventory control and aiding in the management of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credential obtained within 6 months of employment start.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
