Department/Unit: Practice Nursing Operations
Work Shift: Per Diem (United States of America)
Salary Range: $46,220.72 - $64,709.01
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the LPN will provide exceptional direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator. This role is perfect for dedicated professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a positive impact in patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately obtain and record patient's vital signs to monitor health status.
- Document detailed patient history to assist in clinical decisions.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist in in-office procedures under the direction of licensed healthcare providers.
- Conduct diagnostic CLIA waived testing as needed.
- Perform venipuncture for blood tests, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Manage prescription call-backs per scope of practice.
- Prepare patient charts with relevant clinical information for upcoming visits.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies, ensuring exam rooms are fully stocked.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Previous experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively engage and respond to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state upon hire is required.
