We're partnering with a real estate development company in Post Falls seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to support their growing accounting team. This role offers a mix of day-to-day accounting and project-related financial work within a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Assist with job cost accounting, project tracking, and budget-to-actual reporting
- Support AP/AR processing and vendor management
- Prepare and maintain financial reports for management and ownership
- Collaborate with project managers on financial documentation and forecasts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate, construction, or development
- Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
