Support+Feed is a nonprofit founded in 2020 by Maggie Baird, dedicated to fighting climate change and food insecurity by expanding access to delicious, plant-based food. Since launching, we’ve partnered with 80+ community organizations, 60+ local restaurants, and 150 volunteers to deliver nearly 600,000 plant-based meals and pantry items across 11 U.S. cities.
Eating plant-based isn’t the only solution to climate change—but it’s the single most effective way to reduce your personal environmental impact. Food insecurity disproportionately affects children, seniors, and people of color, and plant-based meals can be nourishing, affordable, and climate-friendly.
We are looking for volunteers to:
- Engage with attendees at tabeling events about how food choices impact the climate
- Encourage people to take the 30-day plant-based pledge
- Volunteers with cars to help with regular local food deliveries to community partners
