Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician supports production operations by performing testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of equipment, products, and subassemblies according to engineering and operational specifications. This role ensures high-quality output through adherence to GMP guidelines, safety rules, validated processes, and precise documentation practices. The technician also contributes to daily production readiness, process improvements, and select project-based assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, test, calibrate, and repair production equipment, products, and subassemblies per specifications, documenting results accurately.
  • Maintain and present the daily management board.
  • Perform process validations and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Comply with 6S workplace standards.
  • Conduct inventory transactions and verify accuracy.
  • Ensure all calibrated equipment remains within specification.
  • Review non-conforming materials for accuracy and completeness.
  • Report failures using the QSI process.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and support clean room operations (if applicable).
  • Perform required equipment maintenance.
  • Follow all work safety rules, regulations, and GMP guidelines.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production schedules.
Required Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Degree / Trade School in Electronics Technology preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for calibration and testing activities.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Prior experience in a regulated or GMP-compliant manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting process validation or continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Oracle, Agile, Microsoft Office, and file transfers.
  • Ability to follow written procedures to maintain GMP compliance.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong documentation accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on production teams.
  • Capability to troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues.
Additional Skills
  • Ability to work in a controlled clean room environment (if applicable).
  • Understanding of safety rules and proper handling of equipment.
  • Ability to support special projects.
  • Must meet or exceed quality and efficiency standards.
  • Ensure design, testing, and maintenance activities support all quality standards.
  • Participate in accurate and timely testing, calibration, and recording of results.
Physical Requirements / Additional Notes
  • No PIT (forklift or pallet jack) usage required.
  • Overtime may be required to meet production schedules.
  • No extension expected; conversion possibility: Yes.
  • Interview process: Onsite, typically one round.
