GEICO Local Office: Myrtle Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual to join our outstanding team as a Full-Time Insurance Customer Service Representative. You will be using your professional demeanor, willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills to service new and existing accounts to achieve agency sales goals and service standards. Whether you have experience in the insurance industry or are looking to start down a new career path, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Process customer policy change requests and take payments.
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner and answer incoming phone calls.
  • Handle customer renewals.
  • Represent the company at local events
  • Assist agents with obtaining signatures and securing paperwork
  • Identify potential cross-sell opportunities for agents
Requirements:
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Must have ability to multi-task.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
