Extrusion Machine Operator

Walton Hills, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire Extrusion Machine Operators / Extruders. Night Shift - 10pm - 10am 3 days
Monday 6AM - 10AM then 10PM - 10AM
Tuesday 10PM - 10AM
Wednesday 10PM - 10AM
Will consider a candidate who has production/machine operator position regardless if it is in the plastics industry. Candidate who worked with cars (mechanically) but not in manufacturing they may be a fit.
Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00/HR (+.75 for nights) + bonus every 6 months Permanent Position with Benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School, GED, Vocational School, and/or Higher Level Education
- Night Shift - 10pm - 10am 3 days a week or 6pm - 4am 4 days a week.
- Machine operator experience (plastic environment preferred)
- Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus.
- Set up and operate extrusion line to produce plastic sheets
- Tow motor / Fork lift experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50-100 pounds. (Over 50 lbs. with an assist).
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Alert / attentive to observe machine operations and gauges to detect defective material / machine malfunctions then stop and start machine as needed
- $1000 Sign on bonus
