Supervisor II Large Clinic Laboratory

Oversees the overall operations of the laboratory, supervising and scheduling staff to provide the necessary coverage, and ensuring the lab is in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university; no substitutions. Required major field(s) of study: Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
At least ten (10) years' experience with five (5) years' experience in a lead position.
COMPUTER SKILLS
An individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be a registered Medical Technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologist or American Medical Technologists or equivalent and maintain throughout employment.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must obtain CPR certification within six months of employment and maintain throughout the employment period. Embraces and implements the Jobs/Language/Community Cherokee Nation Strategy.
