Join our team as a Customer Service Expert, where you will play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our wholesale and retail customers. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs, addressing inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommending suitable solutions to ensure their satisfaction.

In this role, you will also take on the responsibility of resolving customer concerns in a prompt manner while staying current with product features and maintaining high standards of product quality and store presentation. Your efforts will contribute directly to meeting the store's sales objectives and achieving excellent customer service.

This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $18.75 per hour, where you can enjoy opportunities for personal and professional growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
  • Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to identify their needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with retail and wholesale customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and in line with company policies.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieve and prepare products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
  • Organize and restock shelves and merchandise displays.
  • Ensure store equipment is cleaned and maintained.
  • Assist with deliveries as necessary.
  • Keep assigned areas in stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and available options.
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures.
  • Proactively suggest sales improvement strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work without the need for sponsorship.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in English and Spanish.
  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, a minimum performance rating of meets expectations on your last appraisal is required.
  • Completion of required HR Cloud eLearning courses for your current position is necessary if internal to Sherwin-Williams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service is preferred.
  • Experience selling paint and related products is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is beneficial.
