Brown Iron Brewhouse is a renowned community house that celebrates great American beer with outstanding smokehouse cuisine. As the "Best Beer Bar" in Michigan for five consecutive years, we take pride in offering a beer-centric experience like no other. With a wide selection of draft beers, including unique brews and in-house creations, we cater to beer enthusiasts of all kinds. Our smokehouse cuisine features delicious pulled pork, brisket, "beer-can" chicken, and more, all made with fresh ingredients daily. We also specialize in gluten-free options to accommodate special dietary needs.

Main Responsibilities for a Dishwasher:
  • Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing flatware, dishes, pans, and pots.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning kitchen machines and appliances (coffee makers, pans, pots, mixers, stoves).
Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dishwasher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing dishes from tables and washing them efficiently. Occasionally, you may be asked to reset and prepare tables, assist with unloading delivery trucks, and clean cook stations, kitchen appliances, and machines. As part of our fast-paced culinary environment, we expect you to work collaboratively with the team and exhibit excellent time management and communication skills. Adhering to food safety procedures and regulations is essential.

Responsibilities of a Dishwasher:
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
  • Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
  • Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
  • Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
  • Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
  • Assisting other staff members with tasks when needed
  • Adhering to food safety procedures and regulations
  • Taking out the trash
  • Rinsing garbage cans
Dishwasher Job Requirements:
  • Minimal work experience as a dishwasher
  • Proficiency in operating with different types of dishes
  • Knowledge and adherence to all food safety procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
