Shift: Third Shift (Sunday-Thursday) 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Pay Rate: $22.17 per hour

Dress Code: Business casual

Parking: Free

Position Summary

The Technical Specialist - Production supports high-end production operations, including roll-fed press, copier, bindery, and mailroom duties in a warehouse environment. This third-shift role requires standing and walking for the majority of the shift and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Candidates will assist in producing error-free, high-quality print projects while ensuring operational efficiency, equipment performance, and adherence to Ricoh Service Excellence standards.

This position reports to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager and exists primarily to fill in for employees on leave. Exceptional attendance, attitude, and work performance may lead to consideration for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain high-speed inserter machines and other high-end production equipment.
  • Load materials, clear jams, unload finished products, and tray inserted pieces.
  • Perform copy, bindery, fulfillment, QC, and final checks on projects.
  • Calibrate and set up production equipment to match color and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on equipment; perform minor repairs and maintenance (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing oil, etc.).
  • Transfer digital files from network to color equipment and other production systems.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting tools, and inventory of equipment parts.
  • Organize jobs by validating job names/numbers and preparing supplies based on Job Request Forms.
  • Ensure a clean and professional work area and adhere to company dress code.
  • Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs independently; assistance available for heavier items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including facility maintenance, mailroom, and support tasks.
Requirements

  • Prior experience as a machine operator or warehouse personnel required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
  • Basic PC skills required; training will be provided for equipment operation.
  • Must be reliable, able to stay on task, and willing to work a physically active third shift.
  • Longevity on previous jobs and minimal employment gaps preferred.
  • Warehouse experience required.
