In this hybrid role based in vibrant Boston, a city known for its rich history, thriving arts scene, top-tier dining, and easy access to coastal and outdoor adventures, you'll be a vital player in delivering accurate, efficient, and innovative audit services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate clearly with clients to understand their goals, operations, and risk factors
  • Lead financial statement audits from planning through completion
  • Supervise, mentor, and support audit associates and interns
  • Use advanced audit tools and data analytics to streamline procedures and enhance audit quality
  • Conduct research on complex accounting issues and document findings
  • Work on-site, remotely, or from the office as part of a flexible and collaborative environment
  • Represent the firm at professional events and contribute to recruiting efforts
  • Continue developing your technical skills through ongoing training
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, including in-charge audit experience
  • Progress toward or completion of CPA certification (must meet state-specific education requirements)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
  • bility to manage multiple priorities and engagements effectively
  • Skilled communicator, both written and verbal
  • Open to occasional travel (up to 25%)
  • Familiarity with audit-related technology and automation tools is a plus
Required Skill Sets:
  1. Public accounting experience with direct responsibility in audits
  2. Technical proficiency in U.S. accounting and auditing standards
  3. Leadership experience in managing teams or engagements
