Job Description

The Line Mechanic plays an important role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and skilled Industrial Mechanic to apply their expertise in a company that values a safety-first mindset.

Shift: 2nd shift 3pm-12am

Pay Rate: $25-$32/hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair electrical/electromechanical and mechanical component systems for concrete masonry plant equipment.

• Read blueprints and schematics.

• Weld and fabricate as needed.

• Safely operate motor vehicles and other mobile equipment including man lifts, forklifts, and skid steers.

• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce unnecessary downtime.

• Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing personnel to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

• Quickly assess issues during breakdowns and apply troubleshooting skills for efficient repairs.

• Perform building and grounds maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
