As a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, you will work closely with our store team during busy sales periods to ensure our guests receive outstanding customer service. In this role, you will focus on sales, customer service, and maintaining our store's appearance, contributing to our “Circle of Life” business model. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting guests, addressing their video gaming needs, and recommending relevant products, while expressing gratitude for their choice to shop with us.
  • Support a welcoming shopping environment by helping maintain store cleanliness and organization while actively participating in holiday sales initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all store areas, including restrooms, are clean and meet merchandising standards.
  • Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise, ensuring products are displayed neatly on shelves.
  • Help the store team achieve and exceed sales and shrinkage goals.
  • Promptly address guest questions or concerns and escalate issues to a store keyholder when necessary.
  • Support loss prevention and inventory control efforts, remaining vigilant to potential scams and adhering to safety best practices.
  • Consistently follow GameStop policies and procedures, focusing on attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to follow instructions effectively in various formats.
  • Outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to provide friendly assistance on every visit.
  • Clear verbal and listening communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Capable of independent work and teamwork to complete all assigned tasks.
  • Meet performance expectations, including proper attendance and grooming standards.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the store for up to 8 hours, as well as lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness.

Full-time positions may qualify for benefits such as incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, and health insurance. Compensation for this role is $12.48 per hour.
