Westminster Suncoast, a beautiful gated retirement community in South St. Pete, is looking for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic/Engineer to assist in the day-to-day maintenance of community property. Rates up to $21.34 plus excellent benefit options, PTO, and 403b. EPA Certification required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with electrical and plumbing systems. Repair mechanical issues with said systems.
- Perform regular building maintenance and repairs, including mechanical systems.
- Solder copper pipes and perform advanced plumbing repairs.
- Assist Maintenance Engineer with major projects and repairs.
- Interact with suppliers and/or maintenance providers with troubleshooting and repairing major equipment.
- Assist other staff members with minor repairs to equipment and systems.

Essential Qualifications: Education and Experience: Three plus years in specialty trade such as A/C, Carpentry, or Electrical work or equivalent and/or a combination of education and experience. Possess an EPA License/Certification. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
