Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Day shift and night shift positions available
• Minimum 13-week contract with potential for extension
• Must have minimum 2 years of Med-Surg and Telemetry experience plus 1 year of charge experience
• Float between Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed, possible float to ICU
• Work on combined Med-Surg and Telemetry unit with centralized monitoring
• Patient ratios: Telemetry 1:5, Med-Surg 1:5-6
• Care for 32 telemetry beds and 32 med-surg beds, all private rooms
• Treat patients with CHF, COPD exacerbations, NSTEMI, Afib, sepsis, orthopedic surgeries, UTIs, and surgical patients
• Must be proficient with Epic EMR and MEDITECH - MAGIC 5.66 charting system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS, PALS preferred
• Must work at least 2 of 3 upcoming holidays
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts for 12-week contracts, 3 shifts for 13+ week contracts
• Strong charge nurse experience required

This acute care medical center is currently transitioning into a new tower and provides comprehensive medical and surgical services. The facility features a combined Med-Surg and Telemetry unit with centralized monitoring capabilities and maintains all private patient rooms. The organization offers orthopedic surgical services and treats a variety of medical conditions while maintaining modern charting systems and technology to support patient care.
