Responsibilities

SummitRidge Hospital -is a place for Healing and Hope Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens). On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at SummitRidge Hospital. SummitRidge is proud to be a teaching facility that supports local nursing students through our dedicated and tenured nursing team.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Call Center Specialist to provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment to assist the physician in identification of appropriate level of care for potential patients.

The Intake RN is the initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, facilitates the admission process.

Hours of Work: 12 hour shifts Weekdays/Weekends - 36 hours per week; Must be flexible to other times as needed.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two years experience in direct clinical experience in a psychiatric/mental health/chemical dependency setting. Managed care. Progressive leadership exp preferred.

Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of TJC, OSHA, State and Federal regulatory requirements. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).
