Pay and Schedule

• Touring Driver Pay:
  - Starting pay on tour: $1,800/week, with the potential to earn up to $2,500/week as responsibilities increase
  - Regional freight between tours: average $1,475/week (mileage-based)

Important: All drivers will begin in our regional division for the first 30 days (mileage-based pay). Touring assignments and salary-based pay commence following transfer approval.

Touring Driver Schedule:

• Tour Season: March-October
  Tours typically last for weeks, with limited home time unless routes are close to your primary residence
• Off-Season: November-February
  Drivers usually perform regional, no-touch freight to maintain steady income

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport staging, lighting, and production gear for major live events
• Assist with loading/unloading and secure equipment using straps and load bars
• Safely maneuver into tight or unconventional venue locations
• Drive primarily at night to meet strict delivery windows

Driver Insights:

• Overnight driving is common to adhere to event deadlines
• Must complete the entire tour or production run once assigned
• Routes will cover the U.S. and Canada (a valid passport is required; reimbursement available if needed)

CDL-A Touring Driver Requirements:

• Minimum of 30 days of driving experience with our company before applying for Production and Event operations
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A CDL with a commitment to obtain a Hazmat endorsement
• Flatbed certification required (training provided)
• Valid passport for Canada tours (reimbursement offered if needed)
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Experience in entertainment/touring driving preferred but not required
• No reckless driving convictions in the past 5 years
• No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations for moving violations in the last 5 years
• No serious violations in the previous 12 months (e.g. excessive speeding, improper passing, etc.)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential Functions:

• Drive safely and efficiently
• Open/close trailer doors (force requirement: 46 lbs)
• Count freight accurately
• Complete fuel tickets
• Hook/unhook trailers (force requirement: 90 lbs)
• Perform thorough pre-trip inspections
• Willingness for extensive travel - ability to sit for prolonged periods
• Move freight as necessary (force requirement: 54 lbs)
• Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance
• Enter/exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle safely
• Access the rear of a trailer from ground level
