Roberts Oxygen, a reputable supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is searching for a motivated Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team.

You possess hands-on experience in the maintenance, inspection, and safe handling of compressed and liquefied gas cylinders. Your attention to detail and organizational skills enhance your performance in managing materials and products. You thrive in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving heavy items. Your technical skills allow you to troubleshoot effectively, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Handle, maneuver, load, unload, and organize high-pressure and cryogenic cylinders.
- Conduct detailed maintenance, including valve insertions and removals.
- Perform essential testing, inspection, and requalification of cylinders.
- Maintain acceptable cylinder appearance through appropriate painting and labeling.
- Safely operate maintenance and loading equipment, including forklifts, handcarts, and pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Demonstrate outstanding attendance and dependable work habits.
- Adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
