We have grown rapidly through innovative design, outstanding quality and developing key retailer and licensing relationships across the country.

Role Overview

Gameday Social Apparel is seeking a hands-on, solutions-oriented IT Manager to serve as the internal technical lead for the company. This role partners closely with our external IT agency, virtual support team, and third-party developers, ensuring all technical systems across the organization operate smoothly and securely.

We operate in a primarily Mac environment and rely heavily on cloud-based software, including our ERP, CRM, WMS, EDI platforms, licensing tools, and B2B wholesale systems.

This person will help design the technology environment for our new headquarters, support general IT needs for an agile, tech-savvy team, lead internal system improvements, and play a key role in our evolving AI strategy.

As the company rapidly grows, this person will have strong room to grow and help build a robust IT department.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Ownership & Strategy

  • Serve as the internal point of contact between Gameday Social, external IT partners, virtual support teams, and software vendors.
  • Manage issue escalation, ticket prioritization, and cross-team communication.
  • Maintain clarity across all ongoing IT projects and ensure alignment with business priorities.
2. Infrastructure & Network Design for New Building
  • Recommend network design, cabling standards, hardware requirements, and IT infrastructure for the new headquarters.
  • Collaborate with external IT providers on implementation of firewalls, switching, APs, and building security systems.
  • Ensure a secure, scalable environment optimized for Mac devices and cloud workflows.
3. Systems Administration & Cloud Software Management
  • Administer and optimize all cloud-based systems, including ERP, CRM, EDI platforms, B2B portal, and Google Workspace.
  • Manage Apple devices via Apple Business Manager or MDM tools.
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding, permissions, licensing, and software access.
4. Technical Lead for Integrations & Automations (Acting as the internal lead; integrations executed by external vendors or support partners)
  • Coordinate ERP, WMS, EDI, Shopify, and reporting system integrations.
  • Translate operational needs into technical requirements, test functionality, and validate data accuracy.
  • Ensure integrations support efficiency, traceability, and automation goals.
5. Cybersecurity & Compliance Oversight
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across our cloud environment (MFA, endpoint protection, secure backups).
  • Coordinate with external IT provider on threat monitoring, audits, and incident response.
  • Ensure data compliance and security with our international partners.
6. AI Expansion & Management
  • Lead internal adoption and governance of AI tools across departments.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve decision-making, and integrate AI into ERP, CRM, content creation, and operational processes.
  • Develop guidelines for responsible AI use, data protection, and compliance.
  • Train and support teams on how to use approved AI tools effectively.
  • Partner with leadership to roadmap AI priorities across sales, marketing, operations, customer service, and product development.
7. End-User Support & Employee Enablement
  • Provide responsive support for Mac devices, cloud apps, printers, scanners, warehouse tech, and email issues as needed.
  • Create internal documentation, tech SOPs, and user-friendly training materials.
  • Help staff get the most value out of the tools and systems they use daily.
8. Strategic Technology Planning
  • Recommend new cloud tools, system upgrades, automations, and AI initiatives.
  • Manage IT vendor relationships, software budgets, and contract renewals.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure scales to support company growth, licensing expansion, and new business lines.
Requirements
What We're Looking For

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in cloud management, cybersecurity, or Mac administration are a plus.
  • AI-related certifications or coursework is beneficial but not required.
Experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT, systems administration, or technical support roles.
  • Strong experience with Mac-based environments.
  • Prior work coordinating outsourced IT providers or MSPs.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems, ERP/CRM/EDI software, and workflow automation.
  • Experience or interest in deploying AI tools within a business environment.
