Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer

As a Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. Location: Alameda, CA / Portland, OR / Milpitas, CA
What's the Job?
- Create and execute manual and automated test scripts for mobile applications, ensuring high quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage testing tasks using Jira, collaborating closely with Test, Development, Product, and Delivery teams to streamline workflows.
- Utilize real devices, emulators, and cloud device farms such as BrowserStack or AWS Device Farm for comprehensive testing coverage.
- Participate in coding challenges during interviews to demonstrate technical proficiency in Python and Java.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation to support regulatory compliance and product excellence.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app automated testing, with a focus on scripting and execution in a regulated environment.
- Strong coding skills in Python and Java, with experience using Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Familiarity with Android and iOS architectures, including testing on real devices, emulators, and cloud device farms.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries such as Medical Devices delivering Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a distributed global team.
