- We are seeking a Systems Engineer for an Onsite Assignment at Hanscom AFB, MA. The ideal candidate will have an active Top-Secret Security Clearance, a Master's Degree, and at least 4 years of experience in an engineering role, including 2 years in a DoD environment.
- Our priority is to find highly qualified Systems Engineer with Top-Secret Security Clearance who can contribute to mission-critical Air Force programs, applying advanced engineering expertise to ensure complex defense systems' design, integration, and performance.
- The Systems Engineer III will provide engineering support to Air Force programs, focusing on the successful design, integration, and performance of complex defense systems. In this role, you will apply expertise in systems engineering processes such as requirements analysis, system architecture, and subsystem integration, ensuring that systems meet user needs and comply with DoD standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in risk management, system integration, and cybersecurity, working in a fast-paced environment to support critical military operations and missions.
- Provides the Air Force Programs with engineering and acquisition support; vocalizes and applies technical expertise on the systems engineering policies and processes.

- Manages complex system interfaces, identifies and documents interfaces, and ensures the effective integration of multiple subsystems.
- Ensure system requirements meet user requirements; utilize user requirements to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate system concepts, perform assessments, and review the system design.
- Perform and/or support capability analyses and COTS/GOTS evaluation, select components, and develop system interfaces to ensure compliance with DoD and commercially accepted standards and requirements.
- Constructs models and simulations of systems to demonstrate the ability to meet user requirements.
- Conducts engineering performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, technical and schedule risk assessment, and trade-off studies. Documents this information in a technical report as directed by the task order.
- Provide aid or guidance as necessary in the accomplishment of other engineering tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering role, with at least 2 years supporting DoD programs or environments.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with Cyber Situational Awareness tools and practices, including SIEM tools (e.g., ATC Splunk, Elastic Stack), and an understanding of security integration in defense systems.
- Risk Management: Understanding risks, including developing risk matrices based on probabilities and consequences.

- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of interdisciplinary engineering experience and exposure to procurement activities.
