Companionship Volunteers Needed in Fort Worth, TX

Patient volunteers provide companionship and emotional support to individuals on hospice. Visits may include reading, playing games, sharing stories, listening to music, or simply being a comforting presence.

This role is about bringing dignity, peace, and connection to patients and families during an important chapter of life.

Requirements:

  • Compassionate, dependable, and respectiful of all backgrounds
  • Completion of volunteer orientation, verifications, and training (all provided by Bristol Hospice)
  • Must be at least 18 years old and comfortable visiting patients in their own homes or care facilities
