Your Role: As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Engineer focused on Connected Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS), you'll be pivotal in designing security architectures for new projects, leading initiatives for Secure by Design principles, and formulating security strategies and documentation. You'll work across diverse projects and collaborate with security design partners, ensuring Leidos maintains effective C-ITS architectures adaptable to evolving customer needs and standards.
Minimal Qualifications:
- Passion for emerging technologies and reimagining transportation.
- Excellent communication skills to connect across technical and management teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with IoT platforms/devices.
- Strong grasp of cyber risk management for both on-premise and cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to integrate risk management into the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience developing and maintaining important security documentation like System Security Plans (SSPs) and Risk Assessments.
- Capable of evaluating cyber vulnerabilities and planning mitigations.
- Proficient in deploying vulnerability scanning solutions.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, with 3 years of immediate residency in the U.S.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with connected transportation standards and systems.
- Background in fast-paced R&D environments.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience, or equivalent qualifications.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, Linux+, or Network+.
- Experience with tools for documentation and project management.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
An anticipated salary range for this role is $95,000-$130,000.
