Remote Purchasing Manager
Join House Buyers of America as a Remote Purchasing Manager and take charge of bidding, managing, and negotiating contracts for exciting home renovation projects. In this role, you will oversee all purchasing activities, including developing comprehensive scopes of work and building relationships with new contractors and vendors.
What you will do:
- Lead the bidding process and manage all contracts, ensuring timely submission of invoices, meticulous tracking of project budgets, and collaboration with Field Managers to guarantee contractors fulfill their contractual obligations.
- Negotiate competitive pricing (national production builder pricing) and creatively source innovative products that enhance quality and aesthetics while lowering costs.
- Work closely with senior management to establish specification levels.
- Create detailed scopes of work and budgets for each renovation project.
- Supervise, train, and manage General contractors and subcontractors, including termination when necessary.
- Continuously recruit new contractor and vendor partnerships through proactive networking and outreach. Ensure all contractors are properly registered before commencing work.
About you:
- You possess 5+ years of purchasing experience with a leading home builder or remodeling company.
- You have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- You have basic Spanish speaking skills (a plus).
