Job Description Summary
Join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at our Ambulatory Surgery Facility, where we offer an exciting opportunity in our operating room. We specialize in Orthopedic, Total Joints, Sports Medicine, and Spine surgeries, catering primarily to adult patients, with some procedures for teenage athletes.
As we expand our facilities to include 5 operating rooms, 3 endoscopy procedure rooms, and more by January 2026, your skills will be vital in delivering exceptional patient care. Our surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, ensuring a work-life balance without nights, weekends, or holidays.

Job Summary/Purpose:
- CST I - Under general supervision, you will be an integral member of the operating room team, preparing sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures while adhering to established guidelines. This role requires knowledge and skills to deliver appropriate patient care, considering the needs of patients and their families.
- CST II - Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, you will follow procedural guidelines in the preparation of sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures. You will perform direct patient care duties and function autonomously in a team environment, using your advanced skills to support patient and family needs.
Minimum Training and Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or military program and a minimum of two years of operating room experience are essential. Level II practitioners should demonstrate enhanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: You must be credentialed as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting and maintain this certification. Additionally, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.

Physical Requirements: The role involves standing, sitting, and walking continuously. You should be able to perform job functions in various positions and settings, including confined spaces, elevated areas, and situations requiring fine motor skills. The position may occasionally require lifting and carrying objects as well as maintaining good sensory functions.
