Position - Shipping/Receiving Associate
Job Location - New Berlin, WI
Starting Date - Immediate
Employment Term - Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type - Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) - 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm)
Starting Pay - Depends on Experience, $20 per hour
Benefits - Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education - High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience - At least 2-3 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials checking to purchase orders or receiving slips
-Maintain records and prepare receiving reports
-Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, etc. to properly identify materials
-Using fork truck and/or overhead crane to load and unload trucks
-Prepare shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications. Check shipments for correct materials, part numbers, quantity, and piece counts
-Correctly pack and skid shipments, loading and bracing as required and prepare bills of lading and other required forms and shipment reports
Qualifications
-HS Diploma/GED required
-2+ years in shipping/receiving with forklift experience. Experience with crane operation preferred.
-Ability to use/read tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.
-Must have a positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and team mentality
