Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and complete DOT inspection reports.
- Verify bill of lading and maintain accurate records for off-hour deliveries.
- Drive the tractor-trailer to designated locations, demonstrating your knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations, including delivery details and product temperatures.
- Unload trailers, delivering products directly into customer premises.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications as a CDL-A Driver:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
- A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- This role requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a proficient level to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively.
