This team is on the front lines, designing and deploying the support backbone for the future of autonomy: the Tesla Robotaxi fleet and the Optimus humanoid robot.

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will architect and build the software that powers the diagnostic equipment, automated service systems, and maintenance hardware for these groundbreaking platforms. This is an opportunity to apply your first-principles problem-solving skills to unique challenges at the intersection of software, robotics, and automation. What You'll Do
  • Architectand develop robust software solutions for the service equipment and automated systems supporting the Tesla Robotaxi and Optimus robot programs
  • Developand deploy software for diagnostic and service equipment supporting all vehicle platforms for our global service centers
  • Collaboratewith cross-functional design and manufacturing teams to define software requirements for new and existing products
  • Drivethe evolution of the team's capabilities by pioneering more advanced, intelligent, and integrated tooling systems
  • Validateyour designs through hands-on prototyping and testing in close collaboration with expert engineering and service technicians
  • Createand maintain comprehensive design documentation, including well-commented code, system diagrams, and operational specifications

What You'll Bring
  • A versatile, multi-talented engineer with a proven ability to work across different engineering disciplines (software, mechanical, electrical) to create cohesive solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, automation, or a related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
  • Strong knowledge of software development fundamentals, including design patterns, algorithms, and testing methodologies
  • Experience with automation technologies and robotics; familiarity with machine learning concepts is a plus
  • Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving from first principles.Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes to effectively integrate software with physical hardware and automation equipment

Expected Compensation $164,480 - $292,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
